the watch

i love coincidence! i was with my mom in the store today, looking for christmas gifts, and was thinking how i really should get a watch. when i'm at work i never know what time it is. tonight i was at work and i found a kid's watch on the floor. the band is pink and plastic and the face is a bunny with a digital strip for the time. people lose things all the time so i took it up front to put in lost and found and see if anyone would claim it. it's a pretty cheap thing so in the back of my mind i knew no one would. at the end of the night the pink bunny watch came home with me. life is full of surprises.
